LSD1 Fluorometric Drug Discovery Kit
A single-step, homogenous assay for LDS1 inhibitor screening. LSD1 (KDM1; lysine-specific histone demethylase 1; AOF2), a flavin-containing amine oxidase homolog and component of various corepressor complexes, catalyzes the oxidative demethylation of mono- and demethylated lysines in histones, p53 and DNMT1. There is increasing evidence for LSD1 playing epigenetic and transcriptional roles in processes ranging from embryogenesis to carcinogenesis. The CELLestialTM Red Substrate detection system allows sensitive realtime fluorometric or colorimetric detection of LSD1 activity. Over 1000U of LSD1 are supplied with each kit.

Mito-ID™ Membrane Potential Detection Kit for microscopy and flow cytometry
Highly sensitive assays for monitoring decrease in mitochondrial membrane potential. Mito-ID™ dye detects membrane potential loss at one-tenth the drug/test agent concentration required with other commonly used dyes, such as JC-1. Loss of orange signal, localized to energized mitochondria, indicates a decline in mitochondrial membrane potential. Kit also available for microplates.

Figure: The Orange fluorescent aggregates are localized in the mitochondria (orange channel), while green fluorescent monomers mainly stain the cytosol (FITC channel).

SDMA (human) ELISA Kit
For the quantitative determination of SDMA (symmetrical dimethylarginine) in human EDTA-plasma and serum. Does not cross-react with ADMA, NMMA or L-arginine. SDMA is a methylated derivative of L-Arginine which is strictly eliminated by renal extraction. It exhibits properties of a reliable marker of renal dysfunction as SDMA plasma level is strongly correlated to renal function.

New Probes for Enzymes with Deubiquitinylating Activity:
Ubiquitin Vinyl Sulfone (HA-tagged)
Ubiquitin Vinyl Methyl Ester (HA-tagged)
Chloroethyl Ubiquitin (HA-tagged)
Bromoethyl Ubiquitin (HA-tagged)
Hemagglutinin (HA)-tagged ubiquitin molecules derivatized at the C-terminus with thiol-reactive functional groups can be used as potent, irreversible inhibitors of deubiquitinylating enzymes (DUBs). They can act as specific probes for enzymes with DUB activity through their covalent modification of the enzyme active site.
